Where the names come from
The histories, places, and family names published here were gathered from materials already available to the public. They are informed by books and other public sources, including the books of Pastor Yonadabu Rukundwa, Muvura Luc, and Alexis Kagame, together with other records and community publications that are out in public. This site does not build lineages from private files or unpublished personal records.
No identifiers on the public lineages
A name in a family tree is the name as it appears in those public sources. The public pages do not attach national identity numbers, passport numbers, home addresses, phone numbers, or any other personal identifier to those people. A name here is a kinship record, not an identity file.
Ask us to edit or remove a name
If your name, or the name of someone in your family, is wrong or should not be on the site, write to us. Tell us the name, the tribe or page where it appears, and whether you want it edited or removed. We will make the change.
If you create an account
The public chapters can be read without an account. If you sign in, we keep the email address you use and the profile details you choose to enter, and we record whether you have unlocked the full lineages. Payment is handled by Stripe. We do not sell this information, and we do not use advertising trackers. Account details are not published on the family trees.
To close an account or correct those details, use the same address: info@ndumunyamulenge.com. You can also reach us through the contact page.
